UK SNIFFER DOGS SCENT DETECTION BRONZE LEVEL

Scent detection work is a fantastic way to work with and strengthen the bond between dog and owner.

Great for any dog, any breed, and any age.

Works well with reactive dogs, rescue dogs and of course dogs and owners who just want to enjoy training their dogs in a different skill that they will absolutely love.

The course can be undertaken as part of a group (2-4 max) or on a one-to-one basis.

Packages

Bronze Level Group Workshops

£160

Comprising of four 2hr workshops where you will learn the theory and basics of scent work.

Introduction to scent ID, Search and Indication.

Information handout included along with a pocket-sized scent kit to practise at home with.

Scent training using pipes and chairs.

Developing search patterns and the way your dog indicates a ‘find’.

Novel environments introduced along with bag and car searches.

Upon completion a certificate and rosette will be awarded.

Bronze Level One-to-One Workshops

£175

Six one-hour workshops covering the Bronze level syllabus as detailed in the group workshops.

A one-to-one personalised service where the syllabus is split into six parts, usually on a weekly basis.

Times and location can be scheduled to suit your needs.

Handout, scent kit included along with completion certificate and rosette.

Continuation Classes

£22 per hour for group classes
£30 per hour for one-to-one classes

Further development of scent detection using pipes, chairs, bags, novel environments and indeed anything where scent can be hidden.

Honing your dogs’ skills in searching and indicating the location of a hidden scent and adapting this to your own environment.

Behavioural Consultations

£140

Travel costs at 40p per mile apply if further than 10 miles from Bewdley.

Consultations tailored to help you cope with and overcome any issues you may have with your dog.

This may include:

  • Reactivity
  • Aggression
  • Separation Anxiety
  • Barking
  • Jumping up
  • Disobedience

The initial consultation usually lasts up to 3hrs, following this a full written report with my recommendations will be provided, along with further telephone advice if necessary.

If more consultation time is required, this will be charged at £35.00 per hour.
